Malibu Wedding

Jenny Packham, Dress Designer

Marilyn Ambra, Event Planning

Camilla Svensson Burns, Floral Design

Jimmy Choose,  Shoes

My husband Josh and I had the opportunity to document this wedding at Dick Clark’s estate in Malibu, CA.  The weather was gorgeous, but it didn’t hold a candle to the beautiful view and decor.  I shot mostly video but was able to squeeze in a few stills for detail shots. I like to include stills in my videos.  Another thank you to the Sweasy family for including us on the big day.

One of my Favorite weddings of 2011.  Thank you Lix & Evan for a wonderful day of shooting.  I always love documenting at the Calhoun Beach Club. Given the chance to work with Elizabeth & The Style Architects what a great experience.  Elizabeth really knows her stuff.   You can tell when someone has been doing it for years, thanks for all your help Elizabeth.  Lisa with Flora Bela did an incredible job as always.  I’m constantly reminded of why I had Flora Bella do the flowers for my own wedding.  Lisa just has great style that complements her clients,  it’s that simple.  Some of my favorite events of the day to document are the getting ready, details, toasts, and portraits during the cocktails hour.  Below are some of my favorite shots from the beginning of the day.  Thanks for looking.  Another beautiful wedding.

a Wedding at home

This ended up to be one of the most beautiful days, thank you Bari & Dave having me.  Outdoor ceremonies are so wonderful and even more so when they are in your own back yard.  Mother of the Bride ran the show and was in control of all decor.  The tent looked amazing with Bastian & Skoog adding talent in floral design.  Gateaux created a beautiful four layer cake covered in small daisies and edible tinny bumblebees.  Another home wedding.

Lauren Neal owner of Carrier Pigeon Jewelry, just moved into her new shop in NE Minneapolis and it’s absolutely beautiful.  Her work is inspiring and simple in solid silver and gold castings.  I have one of her necklaces and constantly get complements on it.

Toby & Ethan

How do kids keep getting cuter and cuter year after year!  They just do.  These two are always super fun to have in the studio and always with great hair.
