I always have an assistant. Most images are shot by me, assistants only shoot when needed or when the guest numbers reach beyond 275. I then will have a second photographer for part of the day to help with detail shots and documentary portraiture. A second photographer also comes in handy when coverage is needed in two separate locations for more than 2 hours of the day. Even though I love shooting natural light, it’s not always possible. My assistant is then my light source. I use a wireless bulb flash Sun Pack and additional mono lights to recreate light in dark spaces as natural as possible. I absolutely love this process of lighting. On Camera Flash is used only during dancing and other fast moving events. Shooting with off camera light sources adds natural depth to each image and as I move around the room the lighting changes, bringing even more visual range between shots. This use of lighting is specific to my style of shooting and helps create one great shot after another.
Wedding Day Rates have a minimum of five hours of coverage. Everything from engagement shoots, proofing magazines, custom albums, printing, video documentation & photo videos are ala-cart. You have more options to customize your photography as well as your albums. In order to reserve your wedding date, I require 1/2 down as a non-refundable deposit and the signed contract. I ensure the 20% promotion toward the Graphi Studio custom wedding album with a $500 deposit on contract. The deposit will go toward the Graphi Studio album at the time album order is placed; sometime post wedding date. I’ll include a check list to help keep group shots organized and want to hear about shots you have in mind, details not to be missed.
